Name: Biology I
Description: This course is an introduction to our current understanding of genetics, incorporating the most important themes ranging from DNA and gene function, to model organisms and human diseases, and finally the interactions of organisms with their environment through the earth’s history. A strong emphasis is placed on scientific method, hypothesis development and testing, and these will be put to practice in a multi-part lab component.
